Reggie Hughes, Critical Event Manager, Grainger
Reggie Hughes is a Critical Event Manager dedicated to leveraging ITIL best practices to support and restore affected business units efficiently. He has over 30 years of experience and knowledge. He is a 20-year veteran of the US Navy, and a federal employee retiree. His current role with Grainger involves seamless coordination and communication across diverse technical and non-technical teams, to include application, infrastructure, third-party suppliers, and business units. By ensuring timely service restoration, he helps to maintain operational continuity. Post-incident, he leads the root cause analysis sessions to identify and implement solutions that mitigate future incidents, thereby minimizing downtime and supporting the organization’s profit goals.
