Jessica Szalla is a successful IT service and support leader with more than 27 years of experience driving process improvements, reducing costs, developing talent to improve operational efficiency, managing change, and re-engineering processes and services. A dedicated Giant Eagle team member, Jess currently leads Disaster Recovery, Data Operations, IT Service Management, and the Technology Service Desk. She has led the Major Incident practice for Giant Eagle for almost 20 years and possesses the command skills needed to lead Team Members up, down, and across the organization as they recover service disruptions. Jess holds HDI Director, ITIL 4 Foundation, ITIL Drive Stakeholder Value, ITIL High Velocity IT certification. Jess is currently working on ITIL Direct, Plan, Improve certification. As an experience speaker, Jess is a storyteller and has shared her Service Management learnings at Service Management World, HDI Steel City, GetWITit Pittsburgh, and Giant Eagle Leadership Academy events. Jess was recognized as a Rising Star by Progressive Grocery through their Top Women in Grocery awards program.
